HOW TO SPEND SUMMER HOLIDAYS IN RUSSIA

Russia is crossed by four climatic belts: Arctic, subarctic, temperate and subtropical. It is particularly characterized by a marked temperature difference during the year between the cold and warm seasons.

The North of Russia is extremely cold, as are the Taiga and tundra areas. In this sector we can also find the deepest lake in the world: Lake Baikal; the Altai Mountains and the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka. During the year it is possible to organize unique excursions to these natural places. To the west, Russia borders Finland, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, and Belarus; countries that are actively visited by Russian tourists. To the southwest, Russia is washed by the Black Sea. There we find the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea, ideal resting places if you are looking to sunbathe and go to the warm sea for a summer vacation.

The average summer temperature in North Russia is 14-17 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is not surprising that all its inhabitants are eager to spend a vacation in the south by the sea.

The highest temperature of the summer was recorded in St. Petersburg in August 2010 with 37 degrees Celsius and the lowest recorded was 0 degrees in June 1930. The coldest summer in Russia was in 2006 and 2014. The temperature in the Ural Mountains area did not rise above 16 degrees. And in Perm, a record low of 10° was recorded

Temperatures above 25 degrees occur, on average 16 days a year, with cloudy days predominating. The absence of sun greatly affects the emotional state and well-being. The holiday season is here in the summer, and everyone is scrambling to get out and get their fix of sunshine.

According to popular beliefs, to assess what the summer will be like, it can be assessed on March 14. It is the day of Eudoxia-ivy. If there is snow, rain or warm wind, the summer will be hot and humid. If there are frosts and the winds come from the North, the summer will be cool. If there is fog, it will be rainy. Birds, on the other hand, can also predict the weather. If the magpies from March 22 and all of April sing in the morning, then the summer will be warm.

The most popular resorts are the Black Sea resorts of southern Russia. They have a constant warm climate, and it rarely precipitates. The average temperature in summer here is + 25-35 degrees. The floating population of southern Russia in summer increases tenfold, allowing local residents to rent housing and develop infrastructure to support tourism.

The water temperature in the sea is from 22 to 30 degrees in the upper layers, which creates ideal conditions for swimming and water sports. The most popular water attractions are the “banana” and “cheesecake” rides. Parachute flights over the sea and paragliding are made, you can dive from a boat or yacht and even ride a flyboard. On the embankments they sell local delicacies and products for swimming and diving. If you see that rows with similar products have begun to appear, then this path always leads to the sea.

The most popular delicacy is churchkhela. This treat has thousands of years of tradition. It consists of a thread with nuts and dried fruits that is immersed in a hot mass of grape, pomegranate or other juice, then everything hardens and turns out to be a very tasty delicacy. It is more common in the south, since the nuts and fruits used in its preparation grow there.

On the embankments, you can braid bright African braids, make a washable henna tattoo or a children’s aquagrim. There are different physical and virtual reality attractions. You can fish or visit the places of interest in the area. Go to the waterfalls, to the mountains, take a horseback ride through the boxwood forests and take a dip in the waterfall. The scenarios range from going to a water park with an outdoor foam party, exiting the slide directly into the sea from a catamaran, controlled by pedaling, to visiting historical sites such as palaces, butterfly gardens, caves, or the ancient dolmens.

Dolmens are ancient cult buildings, dating back up to 8 thousand years. In Russia, they are distributed in the Caucasus, in the Krasnodar Territory. Currently, no one knows its true purpose. They are presumed to have been used as burial chambers and are known to have the most powerful energy.

In summer tours and performances of theaters, circuses and shows begin.

In popular places for rest in Crimea, you can visit beautiful palaces, such as Vorontsovsky built in 1828. It is made of local diavaz stone, and its park is a monument to Garden art. He was educated in England and the Palace was built in the Neo Mauritanian style. It houses a huge collection of porcelain, paintings and bronze products from the English and French Empire.

Evergreen trees from different parts of the planet are planted in his garden. In addition, the fateful Yalta conference was held in this Palace in 1945, with the participation of the heads of the three allied powers Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill on the distribution of influence in the post-war world. It was then that an agreement was reached on the creation of the United Nations.

In the Crimean bakhchisarai, the 16th-century Khan Palace, a harem and a fountain of tears, built in memory of the beloved wife of Khan, are preserved. Water continuously oozes from the fountain, pooling and overflowing from one container to another, symbolizing the stages of human pain.

This is just a small part of what you can see and do. The most important goal remains to relax under the rays of the warm sun, get a beautiful tan, enjoy the sea, the food and achieve a complete reset.

In smaller cities it is more profitable to rent a house in the private sector. Queues in the shower, lack of cleanliness, insects, noise. All this entails a cost for the private sector. There are large guest houses with the best conditions, where there is a kitchen on each floor and private bathrooms in each room. And the most expensive and most comfortable option are hotels with swimming pools.
