Three Days in Moscow
We gathered for the New Year holidays to visit the capital of our Motherland. To show the child the Kremlin and the Moscow Estate of Father Frost. We made a plan of places that we wanted to visit and how to get there.
The train tickets were bought on the Russian Railways website. We left on the night from 01.01 to 2.01, back on the night from 04.01 to 05.01. As a result, it turned out a full 3 days.
THE FIRST DAY.
TRAVEL.
We immediately bought a single travel pass for 20 trips (which we did not have enough). The purchased 6 trips cost 50 rubles one trip. Information about the travel can be found here http://TROIKA.MOS.RU/TARIFFS/TABLE/ (the most profitable option here would be ticket for 3 days or “Troika”). The metro has free WI – FI, but for this you need to register on the site. The fact that the metro comes to the surface and has ground stations is not surprising. But the station with three tracks was seen for the first time …
Immediately we went to Red Square. There is no one for the people, silence. The square is fenced, they let us through the “frames”, they check the bags. We walked, visited the Mausoleum, the fair at the rink.
Then we went to the Okhotny Ryad to get warm.
And they went to the Alexander Garden.
And this is at the Rimskaya metro station
SECOND DAY.
In the morning we went to the Estate of Father Frost. From the Kuzminki metro station there is a route 529M or bus 169.
The estate consists of 3 chambers: the Terem of the Snow Maiden, Santa Claus, Creativity and the mail of Santa Claus. Entrance to the estate is free, and to visit the palace, you need to buy a tour. The estate hosts various free animation programs for children. First of all, all this is interesting young children who still believe in a fairy tale.
A whole Ice City grew up on Poklonnaya Gora. But seeing a huge line, we didn’t stand because of the frost and limited time. We looked from behind the fence. We walked along the alley to the Victory Memorial. A 141.8-meter high bayonet monument on Victory Square located in front of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
The height symbolizes 1418 days and nights of war. 15 bronze commemorative steles
symbolize the contribution to the victory of 10 fronts of the Great Patriotic War, the Central Alley “Years of War” includes five terraces, symbolizing the five war years.
The memorial complex is decorated with 1,418 fountains – according to the number of days of the war. We saw the Temple of St. George the Victorious. There was also a long queue at the ice slide and the rental of cheesecakes. From the mountain you can see the Moscow business center with skyscrapers and the Empire tower with the Moscow City observation deck.
Then we went to the Kremlin in Izmailovo at the metro station “Partizanskaya”
The Kremlin delighted us. From a distance it looks like a toy. And although it has no historical value, the place is very atmospheric. There are many shops and a market where you can buy anything. There is also a museum of toys, comics, a labyrinth, ” to smithereens ”(there they give you a plate, on it you write what annoys you and hit against the wall, they say it relieves stress),“ Touch ”(this is something in complete darkness). The Museum of Vodka, Bread, Chocolate, Animation and others. The child chose a comic book museum where, in addition to the exhibition, you can play Playstation and read the biographies of the characters.
There are photo zones on the territory where you can take great photos. We really liked the Kremlin.
DAY THREE.
In the morning we went to the Paleontological Museum. Ancient fossils, life-size dinosaur skeletons, will not leave indifferent either you or your child. the camera was safely handed over to the wardrobe, then the photo was only from the hall.
But the palace itself is very beautiful, and I liked the park too.
The night before, while surfing the Internet, I came across one place that I really wanted to visit. We went there after Tsaritsyno, in the already gathering twilight.
Palace of Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye.
Kolomenskoye is one of the most ancient residences of Russian tsars. On May 2, 1667, in a solemn atmosphere, the ceremony of laying the foundation of the palace was held, which reflected the theme of the triumph of Russian statehood and Orthodoxy. It was called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” But in the 18th century, when the capital of Russia was moved to St. Petersburg, Kolomenskoye lost its former significance. The palace of Alexei Mikhailovich was dilapidated. The palace in Kolomenskoye existed for exactly 100 years. But thanks to the prudently made drawings, it was possible to restore it in all details, and now anyone can see firsthand the real royal mansions
Unfortunately, we did not get inside, but there will be a reason to return.
And finally, we got to VDNKh. By the way, there were discounts in the souvenir shop. We didn’t go further, looked at the arch and the Christmas tree. By the way, there is the Moscow Aquarium Moskvarium, the Museum of Cosmonautics and many other interesting things.
Then we went to the station.
The trip turned out to be very eventful, but still we did not have time for everything planned. We decided to return in the warm season and continue. Visit the zoo, planetarium, palaces and museums.
The downsides of winter travel are of course: frost, short daylight hours, snow that interferes with photography, roads are sprinkled with salt, suede boots are killed.
But this will not spoil your travel experience.
Enjoy your travels. Read completely at: https://rutraveller.ru/note/4022
